The Best Little “Bus” in
the Business
Since
it’s introduction four
years ago, the Express
has earned a solid
reputation has a
workhorse ambulance
among many private and
municipal EMS fleet
managers. Reduced
downtime, fewer
maintenance costs, and
increased reliability
have helped win over
owners and fleet service
personnel alike.
Now, with the addition of the EZ Glide™ door as standard, a wider aisle
for more working space,
external backboard
storage, and increased
interior cabinets, the
Express is winning high
praise not only from the
people that work on
them, but from those
that work in them -
paramedics and EMTs.
The Express is built on
the Ford E-350 with a
module length of 144”.
Whelen warning and scene
lights, including front
and rear flush mount
light bars are standard.
MasterTech, our
multiplex electrical
system, provides state
of the art electrical
control. A display
screen panel in the cab
console allows simple,
convenient control of
all warning system
electrical functions. A
similar display in the
action area provides the
same push button
convenience for interior
patient compartment
features. The
microprocessor system
has many advantages
including pre-programmed
system diagnostic
functions, reliability,
easy programming, and
simple component
replacement.
The
interior lighting of the
Express is impressive.
Two rows of four dome
lights with multiple
intensity settings and
independent switching,
along with two angled
fluorescent lights above
the left wall cabinets,
offer a wide selection
of lighting choices from
bright shadowless light
for working to dim,
quiet light for
transport. The all
aluminum cabinets and
interior is covered and
sealed with a scratch
resistant, durable
coating that provides a
formica free interior,
eliminating seams and
resulting in a clean,
durable, bright
environment. The action
area is further sealed
with an epoxy finish for
added protection.
With
all these features and
more, it’s easy to see
why we believe the
Express is the best
little bus in the
business.
