When we look at an ambulance, fire truck, rescue truck or patrol car, we don't see just a piece of machinery. We look at these as Life Star patients that require Life Star's special attention. And, like any good doctor we recommend that a patient come in every so often for a routine check-up, Life Star Rescue offers complete preventative maintenance check-ups.
The way we see it, an emergency rescue vehicle can begin to run down or not perform ideally if it doesn't receive periodic evaluations and preventative maintenance to ensure that all the emergency vehicle parts are working together ensuring the proper functioning of the overall vehicle. We look underneath the hood, under the chassis, inspect the cab, inspect the emergency lighting, check for flaws in the body inside and out, and inspect all of the emergency vehicle parts. Whether it's checking the functionality of your ambulance remount or testing the functionality of the emergency vehicle lights, we can run a thorough diagnosis for your new or used ambulances, rescue trucks, fire trucks, or patrol cars.

Just as there are tornado sirens that are tested for maintenance at the beginning of every month, Life Star Rescue strongly recommends checking the operation of your rescue vehicle emergency sirens every so often in non emergency situations to ensure they are in proper working order. When we inspect your cab, not only will we be checking the console lighting and gauge functionality, we will also be checking all of your audible alarms. We check the wiring, battery connections and each of the various siren modes to make sure they are operating properly. If we see anything suspicious, we will have no problem fixing it with one of our many emergency vehicle parts.
We always stress the importance of properly operational interior and exterior lighting in terms of responding to an urgent situation. Emergency vehicle lights are of the utmost importance in providing safe driving conditions for your service providers by notifying others of your approach and essential for allowing emergency medical procedures to take place en route to the hospital.
We are familiar and experienced with all brands of lighting for emergency vehicles, including Code 3, Weldon, Whelan, Grote, and Federal Signal. We check the major dome and map lights, we also check the often forgotten four way back-up lights, as well as the chassis and marker lighting to ensure maximum safety for all involved.
